Keen to go Green!
From October 2012 the UK Government aim to introduce a Green Deal
Scheme to make it possible for millions of homes to have energy
efficient improvements done on their properties at NO UP FRONT
COST.
Green Deal Scheme is to enable energy efficiency improvements such
as cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, solid wall insulation,
condensing boilers, floor insulation, draught proofing, energy
efficient glazing and doors, electric storage heaters, solar heat
panels, etc etc.
NLA surveys show that two-thirds of landlords would consider taking
advantage of the Government’s Green Deal scheme to improve
energy efficiency in their properties
We at Newlife Lettings, Farnborough are defiantly interested in
promoting this Green Scheme to landlords as in these hard financial
times it would be a good ‘selling’ point to tenants.
And of course it goes without saying that minimising your carbon
footprint can ensure that you sleep a little easier at night.
